Telecommunications and Information Security (MEng)
Our MEng in Telecommunications & Information Security (MTIS) program will prepare you for a career in specialized industries. We’ll train you to apply critical thinking to network and database management.
You’ll learn how to develop corporate security policies and procedures, as well as gaining technical skills in everything from modelling network traffic to data mining and ethical hacking.

Outcomes
In this program, you will:
- investigate and deal with cybersecurity incidents in networks and computer systems
- develop security policies and procedures to secure IT infrastructure
- demonstrate knowledge of telecommunications networks
- investigate and resolve problems in telecommunications systems and their applications
- effectively communicate technical knowledge of security and telecommunications systems and best practices to stakeholders and the broader community

You will need to include the following when you apply:
