Laurie was a core faculty member and program coordinator in the Nurse Practitioner program during a period of rapid expansion. She brought a student-centered approach to her teaching and ensured students were well-prepared for entry level NP practice. She maintains an oncology NP practice with the BC Cancer Agency and conducted research with BC cancer care colleagues.
