I am interested in all areas of corporate law, finance, governance and related policy.

I am a practicing corporate commercial solicitor, and a member of both the British Columbia Law Society and the Bermuda Bar Association. I have a doctorate from the University of Cambridge, a Master’s in Law from Osgoode Hall at York University in Toronto, Canada and a B.A, LL.B. and M.B.A from the University of Victoria.

My research focuses primarily on corporate governance and accountability, and the use of legal mechanisms and structures to offer critique and support to public policy initiatives, such as longer-term investing and share buy backs.

I joined the Faculty of Law at the University of Victoria in 2019, and regularly teach business associations from the perspective of both an academic and a practicing lawyer.
