New CORE 2022 requirement for UVic researchers

As of March 1, 2025, a new requirement applies to all UVic researchers working with human participants.
UVic faculty, students (undergraduate and graduate), research personnel, and staff applying for Human Research Ethics approval must complete the . Previous versions of CORE will not fulfill this requirement.
This change aligns UVic with other major research institutions provincially and nationally, supporting the ongoing success of faculty, students, and research staff.
