Regine and Franz Eder are the founders and owners of ETC Canada Ltd. Prior to starting ETC Canada, they lived in Shanghai for ten years where Franz was the representative of the Hanns Seidel Foundation, a German NGO on behalf of the German Government at (STIEI). He supported Chinese authorities to manage and set up cooperation projects between China and Germany in the field of education. Regine worked as the Vice Principal of the German International School in Shanghai. She set up the cooperation with a Chinese partner school (now SISU Huangpu Foreign Language School), organized student exchanges between the German and the Chinese School and planned and accompanied numerous field trips within China and to Europe with International and Chinese students.
