Katharina Brucker is an international student from Germany who is currently interning at the Centre for Global Studies from December until the end of February 2025. With her academic background in local public administration, she is in the final stages of her Master of Arts in European Public Administration at the Universities of Applied Sciences Kehl and Ludwigsburg, Germany. She will be working primarily as part of the EUCAnet team since she came to Victoria with the hope of getting an outside perspective on the European Union and its partners.

In her spare time, Katharina enjoys all things crafty, including but not limited to baking, sewing, and crocheting. She is very excited to contribute to the amazing work of the Centre and to explore what the city and the University of Victoria have to offer.
