Rachelle Hu is the Interim Administrator at Canada-China Focus (CCF). She first joined CCF in 2024 as a Communication Assistant. Currently, she is responsible for the organization’s website, newsletter, and communications.

Rachelle completed her Honours BA in Sociology at Minzu University of China. She is now pursuing her master’s degree in Sociology at the University of Victoria. Her academic interests center around globalization, immigration, and social networks, reflecting her commitment to exploring the complex ways in which societies are interconnected and shaped by movement, culture, and relationships.

In her free time, Rachelle enjoys traveling, a passion that complements her sociological perspective by providing firsthand insights into diverse communities and global cultures. Rachelle feels fortunate to be part of CCF, where she can contribute to meaningful collaboration on issues that matter deeply to her.
