Abstract:
Community Development Workers, and other Human Service Professionals to help them better meet the needs of their community, in particular the needs of their community's vulnerable children. Some of the most vulnerable children
are orphans; not only have they lost their parents, but also their financial and emtional security. With the rapid spread of HIV/AIDS, and the consequent long illnesses, the number of these vulnerable orphaned children found in the
communities continues to increase. The focus of this training is on helping communities support these vulnerable children using a child rights perspective.
