Luke is a graduate student in the Mechanical Engineering department at the University of Victoria, specializing in thermodynamics and transport phenomena. Under the supervision of Dr. Henning Struchtrup, his research focuses on rarefied gas dynamics and transport processes, with an emphasis on strict adherence to the second law of thermodynamics. Outside of his studies, Luke enjoys travel, running, acting, and composing and playing piano music.
