Co-ops & practicums

Master of Public Administration student Anabelle Budd became UVic's 75,000th co-op student to secure a co-op work term when she was hired last month by the BC Ministry of Health. She is working as a research and policy analyst for a four-month work term.

At UVic, learning extends beyond the classroom. You'll be challenged at any one of our schools or programs to learn in new and dynamic ways.

Co-ops, practicums and community projects

You can complement your academic studies through , a practicum, an internship or a community project. You can sample areas within your field of study or explore future career options.

Each year HSD students apply and expand their academic knowledge in real-world environments. You'll find , , , , , , and students in a wide range of practicum settings including:
