The ATWP Fall 2024 Write-In was a success!
The Academic and Technical Writing Program is delighted to congratulate Sara Humphreys (PI; ATWP), Jason Collins (CI; ATWP), Loren Gaudet (CI; ATWP), and Erin Kelly (Coll; ENSH/ATWP), on their award of a SSHRC Knowledge Synthesis Grant.
In an article recently published in The Conversation, ATWP Faculty member Dr. Loren Gaudet and the former Indigenous Cultural Resurgence Coordinator for University of Victoria's tri-faculties Lydia A. I. Toorenburgh explain how the Indigenous cohort section of ATWP135 creates a sense of belonging for the students it enrolls.
The Conversation noted that the University of Victoria has "a robust academic writing requirement for all students, regardless of their field of study."
