DELF/DALF and TCF

We (normally) host examinations three to four times a year: in March and/or November (Tout Public B1-B2), in May (Junior, A1 to B2) and in June (Tout Public, A1 to C2). This schedule and the levels offered are subject to change.

These examinations cannot be held at a distance nor online.

Schools interested in hosting the DELF Scolaire should contact the Alliance Française de Victoria.

Please download, fill, and sign the TCF-Canada Registration form if you are interested in participating, and send it to tcfvictoria@uvic.ca 

Please let us know if you are travelling to Victoria to take the TCF.

Cost of TCF Canada: $390

What are the DELF-DALF examinations?

The DELF and DALF are six separate diplomas issued by the French Ministry for National Education to certify the language skills of persons whose mother tongue is not French. More information on these diplomas are available on this site: Delf-Dalf () and  (CEFRL).

 DELF/DALF evaluates language skills in four areas:

• oral comprehension,
• oral expression,
• written comprehension,
• written expression.
