SDGs-in-Action
Add a United Nations CIFAL qualification to your international experience (and your CV!) by taking the SDGs-In-Action challenge. Below are resources and some of the many ways to get involved at City University of Hong Kong.
-
- City University of Hong Kong runs a Service Learning program that is actively seeking volunteers.
-
- Under this umbrella program sits the Service Leadership Training Programme (SLTP) students receive training in the core principles of leadership. Students can choose to work with one of eight service teams connecting with elders through food parcels to volunteering graphic design skills for NGOs.
-
- Alternatively, the more informal Community Engagement Programme (CEP) matches students with community groups. Participants build connections through extra-curricular activities, such as distributing goodie bags to street cleaners, public education events and hosting walking tours.
-
- Also check out the student Flow Centre at the CityU, a physical space for students to utilize for personal growth and skills training, community services, global citizenship and leadership.
