Covid-19 Safety Protocols

Please note the following when visiting the gallery:
- A sign posted on front door asks visitors to self-assess before entering the gallery according to the .
- We recommend that visitors continue to wear masks in the gallery.
- Hand sanitizer is available for visitors upon entry.
- Signage in lobby and throughout gallery reminds visitors to respect physical distancing of 2 meters while in the gallery.
- There are no current mandated capacity limits in the gallery.
- Proof of vaccination is not required to visit the gallery.
- Visitors will be greeted and oriented to the space by gallery staff from behind a plexiglass screen at the front desk. Floor arrows are installed in order to encourage one-way flow through the exhibitions.
- Prior to coming to work, it is mandatory that each Legacy Gallery staff member self-assess according to the . No staff member who is feeling ill or has symptoms will be permitted to enter the gallery.
- The gallery receives a deep clean and sanitization each morning. Staff sanitize all surfaces such as handles, knobs, switches and washroom fixtures daily.
- Staff are trained in and follow physical distancing, cleaning and personal hygiene protocol as according to . Staff are committed to all aspects of the gallery’s full safety plan.
- Collection Research – we are continuing to recommend digital research through our where possible; however, a limited number of requests for in-person collections research/examination by academic and community clients will be considered on a case-by-case basis, by approval of the Director.
