May 2025 Orientation
Students starting in May 2025 will receive emails in April with information about campus services, upcoming events and tips on succeeding at UVic.
New UVic students should watch the New Student Essentials video series to learn tips and tricks from current UVic students for navigating your first year as a UVic student.
There are no university-wide orientation events in May, however all students starting in May will receive an invite to join September 2025 Orientation events.

Global Community Summer Kick Off
May 15, 2025 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m.
As an international student, you have a unique experience transitioning to university and life in Canada. Join other new international students for the on Thursday, May 15, from 1:30 - 3:30 p.m. Meet UVic staff, other incoming international students, campus services, and current students who will help you settle into life at UVic.
