Become a Research Assistant
The Centre for Youth & Society regularly hires students for positions as Research Assistants, both within and outside the WorkStudy program. Opportunities are available throughout the year; we hire most students to start in September at the beginning of the school year.

Volunteer opportunities are available to students who are interested in interdisciplinary research focused on children and youth health and well-being. Students who are interested in volunteering at the Centre can submit an application through our .
Write for the Youth & Family Community Research Exchange
The Youth & Family Community Research Exchange is an innovative project which matches students who are interested in writing a 10-12 page literature review with non-profits who are seeking information relating to their programs. Recent topics include:
- Improving employment readiness for youth with learning disabilities through recreation
- Best practices in online counselling
- Transitional housing for youth
- Decolonization in an educational context
