CUPE 4163 (Components 1 & 2) bargaining

Component 1 of CUPE 4163 represents the university's teaching assistants, lab instructors, computer lab assistants and academic assistants. Component 2 represents second-language instructors in the English language centre and French language program, as well as cultural assistants. Overall, CUPE 4163 (1 & 2) represents approximately 1,720 employees (205 FTE positions).
The current collective agreement with CUPE 4163 (Components 1 and 2) is scheduled to expire on August 31, 2025; however, the terms and conditions continue in force until the parties renegotiate the agreement in accordance with the provincial mandate.
