Learn the principles, procedures, methodologies and skills necessary to pass the Project Management Institute’s (PMI) Project Management Professional (PMP®) exam.

What you will learn

Taught by a veteran PMP® exam prep instructor, this ‘boot camp’ style course takes place over 5 days.

Participants will have access to the instructor, via email, after the course is complete to assist with questions during post-course exam preparation.

This course covers the 3 domains PMI uses as the basis of the PMP® exam:

1. Business environment: Highlights the connection between projects and organizational strategy.
2. People: Emphasizes the soft skills you need to effectively lead a project team in today’s changing environment.
3. Process: Reinforces the technical aspects of successfully managing projects.

This course also helps you get back into exam-taking mode. There are 3 levels of sample exams available:

1. Foundational: “Slow pitch” questions to verify you understand the basic terms and concepts.
2. Intermediate: More difficult questions, shuffled across the sections / domains.
3. Advanced: Questions in the format of the actual PMP® exam.

Course materials

Each course participant receives:

• the Project Management Body of Knowledge^® Guide and the Agile Practice Guide – delivered 2 weeks before the class starts for pre-class reading (if registration is received in time)
• Integrated Process Developers, Inc.’s (IPDI) own PMP® prep supplemental eBook which contains:
  • additional materials providing additional insights and PMP® information
  • end of chapter exams
  • multiple 180 question final exams

• access to IPDI’s PMP® prep video series (voice-over PowerPoint) covering the topics presented in class. This resource provides supplemental learning and helps participants to review key topics in preparation for the exam.
• access to additional 180-question online, advanced exams in the style and format of the actual PMP® exam

Cancellations

Full refunds are provided for written cancellations received a minimum of 21 days before the program start date. Cancellations received with less than 21 days notice will be refunded less a $200 administration fee.

Note: This course fee does not include PMI membership or the PMP application cost. These are handled directly through PMI.

Doug Boebinger, PMP

Douglas (Doug) Boebinger is an independent project management trainer and consultant. He provides project management consulting, speaking, and training services to corporations, individuals, and organizations in North America and Europe through his company, Integrated Process Developers, Inc. As a corporate trainer and consultant, Doug specializes in project management consulting and project management training. He is a multi-time winner of the Masters Certificate in Project Management Award for Training Excellence from the Project Management Centre of Excellence at the Schulich Executive Education Centre.

Project management credits

Completion of this course provides the 35 project management contact hours required by PMI as part of their eligibility criteria for challenging the PMP® certification.
