Module 1: Business Communication

This module will help students improve their business communication skills. Students will learn how to speak, write and use proper body language in business situations. The course also teaches how to communicate well with people from different cultures.

Students will learn to:

  • speak and write clearly in business situations
  • understand how culture affects communication
  • use communication styles that work in different cultures
  • take part in meetings with people from other cultures
  • communicate effectively in virtual (online) teams
  • choose the best way to send business communications
  • understand and use body language (non-verbal communication) across different cultures
  • create and give multimedia presentations for international audiences

Module 2: Business Management

The module helps students understand the basic skills and tools needed to succeed in today’s global business world.

The course has three main parts:

  1. Starting a business (entrepreneurship)
  2. Managing a business to help it succeed (service management)
  3. Growing a business internationally (international business)

Whether you want to start your own business or work for a large company, this module will give you the knowledge to help you succeed.
